You must've gone to UND. Take all the BS the recruiters spew with a grain of salt.

So I'm upgrading and I know I'll be on reserve to start and don't have much experience with it since I only had around a month and a half of reserve as a new hire. As someone that lives in base and prefers the 4-4 reserve, are the new crappy proffering rules going to screw me a bunch? I know it's been horribly implemented and is screwing people over and needs to be changed, but from what I can gather it won't be any worse than normal

Besides the email BS it shouldn’t affect you much since you want the early RAP and drive to work.

Not UND, but this is why I wanted to ask here. I KNOW it's the recruiters job to tell you whatever it takes to get your butt in their seat. Everyone who I have talked to who have actually worked for SKW(not recruiter) worked with the company 5+ years ago and it appears quite a bit has changed. Thanks for some of the input everyone and keep it coming.

Very true. Not the same airline as 10 years ago....

Maybe it was my bid, or it’s just me.. but I’ll reiterate the whole “go somewhere else” mentality.

The folks in SEA on the Crj that won’t be getting the incentive $$ for being displaced somewhere they don’t want to be, because of a poorly worded PPM and a company that actively tries to milk ever dollar they can for their employee, I am sure would agree to my sentiments ;)

That was no surprise. They did it to 100 IAH crews and no one seemed to care. Maybe if it was SLC sapa would do something about it... Hahahaha. That’s funny.

The recruiters here will tell you anything. I have two Instructors that recently called and said the recruiters told them we had a Dallas base. I didn’t believe that’s what was said until I called the recruiter and got the same spill.

Is DFW really that far fetched? Rumors are ASA is winding down, even on the AA side. Can’t get butts in seats. Supposedly ASA dispatchers and crew support staff received their notice that the end of May is the end.

Yes it's far fetched to say we have a Dallas base when we do not have a Dallas base.
