A 4 year white guy FO just left for United, he will probably be on the "Gone June" thread.

I know three white guy CFI skywest FOs who went to United with no PIC, a few more who went to Virgin and three who went to Spirit. I know two more from college who were white FOs for a different regional who went to American with no PIC. If you count Frontier as a 'major' then I know about 15 more FOs who have gone there with no TPIC. One white FO from my new hire class even went to Alaska with no TPIC.

People who know no FOs going to majors without PIC must be living under a rock at this point. Lots are getting hired.

Many regional FO's have left for, jetBlue, Spirit, Frontier, and so on, myself included. A friend of mine from Expressjet, went to UAL last year. He was also an FO there. Let me guess, it's hard to believe because of the lack of PIC time? :rolleyes:

Your bromance with TurboSally doesn't concern me. I don't care what she has by the balls. My goal is to get out to a legacy as soon as possible. Turbo girl "ignoring me" doesn't impede me. Quality or not.

yep.. few apps dont specify no tpic and that of course is just the bare mins so i question the chance of getting picked up without it yep..

how btw did this turn into a white v no white thing. jeez

Days of needing TPIC are long gone. I know lots of FO's who are now at legacies who had no TPIC. Many were only at SkyWest just a few years. The key, is they went to job fairs and got noticed.

If you're just gonna stay at home and play "World of Warcraft" hoping your resume with your TPIC is gonna get you some sort of special treatment, think again.

All joking aside, the reality is TPIC isn't as highly valued as it has been the last decade.
