Yes were at 4000 pilots. But were in expansion mode.. Hiring and attrition at the same time.. That has always equaled fast upgrades.. As far as taking CRJ vs ERJ. I would say go CRJ unless you want SEA/PDX.

Or SFO... That base is junior and going to be a good placeholder for a lot of ERJ peepz

I don't understand why people are toting current upgrade times as factors for new hires. When I was hired upgrade times were at 7 years. But growth was approaching and there were not a lot of people hired between now and then. So it dropped from 7-2 years in a matter of just 2 years.
In the last two years since I was hired there have been nearly 1400 people hired there. If you want my guess, the upgrade will probably be 4-5 years for someone starting at OO now.

I'm sure ExpressJet. I would imagine Endeavor, perhaps Republic. Not sure about Compass. Is there a way to tell?
Thanks for any help!

They may have employee numbers but as far as their seniority is concerned it's their first day of class. Seniority in class is determined by the last 4 of your SSN with 0000 being senior and 9999 being junior. The cadets are the exception to that - they are first in class followed by everyone else. Considering huge classes are being run every two weeks it'd certainly be nice to be ahead of a few more people but it's not a game changer by any means.
