Does anyone know when the test is given for the pre class study packet that is given to us ? Is it on the first day of ground school?

It's right before you start systems. End of first week I think.

Some new guy questions, looking at the summation on the APC profile page I am wondering what these mean (how it breaks down in reality)
  • Block Hour Override eliminated, specific rate paid for each aircraft type I take this as if block pays 4 and you fly 4.2 you get paid 4.2 specific to airframe rates ?
  • Minimum daily guarantee at 4:12 hours. 1:4 time away from base pay guarantee I take this as you sit on reserve for 12 hours you get 4 hours pay ?
  • New Pilot Profit Share Payout program I assume this is a percentage based depending on length of employment ?
  • Per Diem $1.85/hr Paid in training ? paid away from home ? paid only only block hours ?

Any other things a prospective should know, like get the CRJ if you want Delta privelages for example ?

Thanks.

Does anyone have any experience taking the RTD train from the Denver airport to the Central Park location near the Holiday Inn connected to where they do interviews? Wondering what the commute from the train station to the hotel would be like.

Shuttle runs every 30 minutes.

Does anyone know if there is a testing center in SLC that is open on Saturday to take the written after the CTP course?

Let me know if you find one. I'm flying out to SLC here soon for the CTP course. This is interesting, They are positive spacing me on United. However, for my class date, I'm responsible to get myself to a Skywest United base to get positive space to SLC. Guess I'll ride a train or hitch hike to ORD. Is this standard? Every job I have had before I've been able to drive to training.

Yeah take the shuttle. Train has been having issues and is bloody expensive. I have a long rant on RTD in general, but that is for another day. Love mass transit, but RTD is no bueno.

You will be provided all that information in CTP training class.

After you receive your CTP certificate, you call the testing center to make an appointment for a test time. Same day appointments are available. The testing center location is near the CTP class. Good Luck!
