Without people complaining, and demanding better, nothing will change. In fact, they get worse. You have to fight to get things you want in this world.

By your logic, we should should just take what we're given or offered? Just because? or because it happens at alpa carriers or mainline?
That mentality is the #1 problem with this industry.

Well said. ALPA may not be perfect, but at least you have a collective group fighting in your behalf. They win some and lose some, but I gotta believe they have more leverage than SAPA. Frontier pilots recently figured that out and are exchanging FAPA for ALPA

Did they give you an offer right away (assuming that it went well)?

Also, just a follow up thought. Regional pilots have immense leverage right now, probably more so than any other time in regional airline history.

We can either USE it, and demand improvements across the board.
OR p1ss it away, do nothing, and just take what we are given (continued crap).

Basic life facts folks.

Somebody needs to go out of business for us to have leverage in my opinion. still lots of 100% ACF out there which makes me think new bottom is not much higher than the old floor. But Eh

So is it typical for Sked+ to be completely wrong with its open time legality evaluations?

From what I understand from the gouges and my interview experience is that if they want you they give you an offer then and there. I was given an offer on the CRJ.

Someone that knows how the recent seat lock works should explain the new hire seat lock. They explain it in the HR portion. If I would've known the details before interviewing I would've given more thought to aircraft request.
