Problem with this is that it's one of those things that CC or SkyWest in general has no control over. Delta has complete control and in their eyes, their is no reason they should give away free nonrev bennies if they don't "have to".

Alaska Bennies for everyone?
American Bennies for everyone?
Are we going to be consistent?

Calling BS. Reminds me of free hotel WiFi 7 years ago. Many of our hotels charged us for the WiFi. DS or whoever the hotel lady was claimed that we couldn't get it free on every property. We were at the whim of the individual property management. All of a sudden Travelliance takes over and viola, free WiFi everywhere. The difference between them and our in-house "negotiator"? Travelliance asked.

Honestly, the fact that I will lose my DL bennies is what stops me from switching to the ERJ.

That and the fact that I will lose all the open time and thus ability to actually alter my sked.

Got to start them on the KoolAid early. Tell them how bad unions are and how we can all just work together and be a big happy family!!

You can actually adjust your schedule? Everyone I know is getting awarded so many hours and have so few days off that they can't even move a trip one day on the front or back of their trips.

I thought awhile ago we found out that LH was involved in negotiating and was the one that gave away our Delta bennies on the 175. We do less flying for American and Alaska, so I can kind of see why we don't have benefits on those airlines. We do a ton of Delta flying and you know for a fact that people from "non-dedicated" bases will be doing Delta flying on the 175. Can our pilots not jumpseat on Alaska and American without paying?

Everyone doesn't see that we are getting killed by a thousand cuts. Little things here and there. Everyone feels like this profit sharing is so great, but our financial and performance bonuses used to be similar to what we are getting with the PS. But new hire classes are full and people are bidding into the 175 without Delta bennies, so there is no reason for SGU to change anything.

Lots of calls to cs and being ase qualified helps. I flew one awarded trip this month. Credited 121 (83 ase awarded)

Call call call.
Don't get what you want, try again later. You'll get it. With enough calls you can get anything you want provides there's other open time available.

How did you credit 121 hours? That is insane and totally what my bank account needs right about now.

Aspen plus trades.
And displacements.

Picked up 3 days of work which had me down to 13 off.

It can be done if you bid high paying standups and then pick up an extra high paying 4 day. This month I have 112 hrs on the 175 with 13 days off.
