I'm trying to non rev my wife for the first time and we are traveling not for work purposes (lucky enough to get a week off somehow). Can I jumpseat on a carrier that my wife non revving...but I am not (aka I bought her an ID90 ticket and I just want to jumpseat)? I kind of get the sticky situation were I might bump a guy trying to get to/from work (as Its happened to me more than once by a non uniformed guy, one of which was non business related).

Is this a don't be that guy situation.....or is this part for the course? Cool....or just buy my own ID90 (at $150)....would seem stupid that I would get bumped off a flight....with an open jumpseat....but full in the back.:confused::confused:

Just Jumpseat... If your in the jump indoubt your wifes getting on.. Pick a open flight..

just curious if anyone knows how long it might be to get PDX after hired crj/erj?

Conservatively I'd say 10 months......Liberally I'd say 7 months. I'm at 7 months and have not gotten it yet.

Sorry for so many questions guys, last one regarding PDX with the E175... If PDX is the place I would like to end up if possible, what is the outlook on that of a new hire? Straight to ORD for awhile I am assuming? I heard the 175 is pretty backed up? I'm still reading through all these pages trying to get all the info I can, just didnt see anything for pdx was all.

Just Jumpseat. Same Jumpseat rules apply whether you are going for work or going for pleasure.

The thing to rember is we are just about to get 19 west coast (sea) DL 175's... So to project it right now without those i would say 9 months. With them Factored in 4 months. Nows a good time to come to SkyWest for PNW basing...

Currently Skywest uses 2x 175 sims in Denver and just put one up in SLC. Getting two more in Denver when the new building is done, that makes 5 175x sims and I wouldn't be surprised if they try out another in slc.

It shows 0 because you can't use it until 1 year. Email april and she'll tell you exactly what your vacation is at if you're curious.

When you hit a year it'll show properly.
