My buddy just finished up training. He said it wasn't until towards the end of ground.

Hey guys I got an interview scheduled and was just curious if anyone knows how long it might be to get PDX after hired crj/erj? Also, whats the deal with the ERJ's in pdx? I thought all of those were going to horizon? thanks

Portland will be an all ERJ base by the end of the year.

SkyWest will operate 20 E75s out of SEA and PDX for Alaska. They will replace the rest of the Alaska CR7s by November, plus a few more for expansion. Horizon's E75s don't start delivery until March 2017. For the time being, if you see an Alaska E75, its a SkyWest plane.

Skywest E175s for Alaska are replacing the CR7s for Alaska, plus some. These will be Skywest owned planes. Horizon is also getting E175s awhile from now, to replace Q400s. These planes will be owned by Alaska.

What happened to the pilots that had gear up landing, how were they fed to the wolves?

Jumpseating question.

I've Jumped a bunch as a commuter and have no problems with the policy and what not but I have a general question.

I'm trying to non rev my wife for the first time and we are traveling not for work purposes (lucky enough to get a week off somehow). Can I jumpseat on a carrier that my wife non revving...but I am not (aka I bought her an ID90 ticket and I just want to jumpseat)? I kind of get the sticky situation were I might bump a guy trying to get to/from work (as Its happened to me more than once by a non uniformed guy, one of which was non business related).

Is this a don't be that guy situation.....or is this par for the course? Cool....or just buy my own ID90 (at $150)....would seem stupid that I would get bumped off a flight....with an open jumpseat....but full in the back.:confused::confused:
