You think 40 an hour is a decent wage for a professional pilot? Wow.
Let me guess, you had to do 19 an hour when hired so they should too? I started at 22 an hour here. And even though I had to do it, I don't think others should. Its despicable. |
The list of those wanting to transition out of the CRJ right seat into the ERJ right seat is really small if you look at all of the seat locks and pilots that don't want to go till next year. It would seem to me they'd have plenty of spots for new hires in the ERJ right now.
Rumor has a BOI ERJ domicile opening at the end of the year as well. |
It looks like new hires in the ERJ would have there choice of SEA, PDX, SFO, or LAX. Plenty of growth in those domiciles over the next 6 months. DEN and ORD probably would take a while to hold.
CRJ new hires are almost guaranteed to start off in DTW. And for those wanting DEN, it might be a while with the reduction in United CRJ flying. |
Two bids ago, DEN went super junior on the E175. But who knows with the future bids.

Also brings up the idea that maybe just doing DEN/Ejet would be a smarter option than DEN/CRJ (with the hopes of getting IAH later) I wish I could have my cake and eat it too. Seems like IAH isn't a smart move but I'm trying hard to see if I can realistically make it work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk CRJ COS is an ok commute from IAH. |

Apparently blowjet got denied ASE certification as suspected so Skw will keep some 700's for that

We were keeping some anyway. Their plan was only den and ord. But like you said it fell through.
We still do lax sfo and iah for united along with ord and den |
I interviewed a couple of days ago and was told that I could get ORD out of training in the CRJ. It looks as though this is not true....
|
ORD has been a little stagnant. I was a January class and I think I was in the last class to truly get it straight out of training and there were maybe only a dozen of us. Although it looks like possibly a more recent class might have had a couple fill some spots as well
