It's perfectly affordable. Especially now now that first year pay is 36.50

WesternSkies 09-07-2016 07:31 PM

Denver is lame. I don't get the flocking.

soakingpilot 09-07-2016 07:43 PM

36.50 is not a wage flying an airplane. never..

While I and everyone else here agree, it's the cold hard truth.

That is so strange. When I interviewed in May they let everyone have their pick. And we had CRJ guys in CTP in July that switched right before our 7/25 class, to ERJ. And then ppl were pulled from the 8/3 CRJ class for ERJ, I figured from here on out most would be put on ERJ...I think if you want ERJ you will get it

I live in Denver, and am raising a family and my wife doesn't work, so it's doable.

They weren't letting CRJ guys transition the the ERJ before or during the busy summer season. Now all those guys that were bypassed are getting transition classes. While there will be ERJ slots for new hires, they will likely be few and far between for a few months.
