Check out RJ's comment under the "announcement" on the SAPA website. Sounds like it's NOT a done deal yet.

We never sapa says "oh no nothing's set in stone yet" it already is.

I still haven't received the email so prob tomorrow. The SAPA guys were informing everyone today. What's really nice is the company is not going to offer incentives to anyone like past base closures.

I'm debating on taking a fourlough.

Taking a furlough? Do you mean quitting?

The company gets to decide WHERE the relocation incentive will be offered (hint: its DTW), not IF it is offered. SP3022.

Now, the company doesn't have to offer an incentive until the end, but if you don't bid out voluntarily you MUST be offered a relocation incentive.

Poll the audience on Pro Standards

I've never contacted pro standards and it is highly unlikely I will here, but the question is since the trip is done and in the past would I be a tool to contact pro standards now? Or should I have made that decision and informed the other on the last leg?

I just can't shake the trip.

I understand wanting to let the other party know first, but I don't think it is bad form if you still fill the need to bring it up. I had a similar experience when I first started. CA did something way beyond inappropriate but since I was new and didn't want to make waves, I just let it go. If we had Pro Standards back then, I would hope that I would've made the call. Later I found out that something similar had happened to other co-workers and I put some partial blame on myself for not saying something earlier. If it is still on your mind after the trip, my suggestion would be to make the call. It may save the persons job if they can have that discussion with Pro Standards vs a CP or disciplinary board.

Hi, few questions for SkyWest pilots:
What airline Skywest flies from ORD? And how hard it is to get ORD for junior?
Does SkyWest have any refersal/sign up bonus?

UA, DL and AA. Easy. Yes.

Per federal law they can't make you commute or move against your will. The base closing is a reduction of force per the law and would be treated as such.

I'd be willing to bet that if your trip was that bad, you are not the only one who has issues with the individual in question.
