Sorry, there's something that I must not be understanding; how would it be difficult to jumpseat up to DEN from IAH?

(elmetal: Obviously there's something i'm not understanding here, and i'm trying to figure out what my best options are with my current living situation. If you'd like to contribute in a non Smarta** way, i'd gladly appreciate your opinion/input. If not, don't waste your time, or more importantly mine, with short answers that give literally zero input to this topic)

Iah-den is a hub to hub flight. Thus, there is a scope limit on how much can be done by regionals, and it's something like 5% of seats. So den-iah is always on mainline. Make sense?

Ooooh, okay yeah that makes much more sense haha, thanks. I was stuck in the mindset that I could just just on a flight operated by Skywest, instead of thinking about the fact that i'll be traveling hub to hub.

Appreciate the clarification!

Hub to hub on mainline is usually the worst commute you can do, aside from 2-leg commutes across the country. I did SFO-ORD and the word 'nightmare' doesn't begin to describe it.

To be honest I've considered other options to let me live on base or very close. Houston doesn't seem to have lots of great options for incoming FOs.

Any opinions on what your major considerations/choices would be if you were back in my position?
