Roger that, I will do everything in my power to be prepared.

Spending my next 25 hours of airplane PIC needed working solely on Instrument and CRM.

I have a copy of "The Turbine Pilots Flight Manual" enroute.

I am open to any and all suggestions !

thanks.

Figure out which plane/FMS you will likely get and go online and get manuals, watch videos. Go to the FBO and get some CFII dual in a sim on instrument procedures if you are rusty. You can't be thinking/remembering instrument procedures, while figuring out FMS stuff at 180kts in the terminal environment. This stuff isn't hard, it's just different from what you might have been doing.

Yup. I've seen those same names. They are not cadets. Not sure what their story is.

You do realize there is a job code for cadet? If you search the directory you will find all the cadets listed there.

Sorry your earlier posts makes more sense now. I was thinking you were saying that they didn't add anyone to the seniority list before they were in class, but you were specifically referring to cadets. I did mention cadets in my earlier post, but I was mostly just trying to say we have guys hanging out in TRG for months so they obviously weren't in class. I will concede that cadets will not be on the list before they start class.

I've seen some military guys get hired and put on the seniority list, and then their name just stays at the bottom while they defer class for various reasons.

Maybe that is what it is? I have seen some hang out towards the bottom then start to move before they disappear.

Additionally, once you get CASS enabled towards the end of ground school go and Jumpseat on the 200 out of SLC. OThere are a lot of quick out and backs and it's a great way to see how a typical flight works once you're out on the line.
Don't kick a commuter out of the Jumpseat when you're just observing however, so just make sure you're the only one listed if it's a full flight.
There is a Jumpseat etiquette guide on the ALPA website and is a good read for people new to the 121 world.

Just had a recent applicant with a class date PM me and ask me if I could send them copies of the FOM and the QRH. This should go as common sense y'all. But under no circumstances should you share company manuals or information with someone on a public forum. I don't know if said applicant just didn't know, or it could all be a evil plot to get their hands on training materials. I politely reminded this person that they would get all the time they wanted and more with training documents once in training. No need to study them beforehand. Just a reminder to applicants and new hires. This behavior is inappropriate and we all should be on the lookout for suspicious behavior. Cheers!

The guy messaged me as well. I gave him the same response. You never know if someone from Indonesia or something is trying to get info to copy and paste for their own company.

I received the same message.... No way, dude.

Might as well do the homework for them too

Just send them fake stuff. Maybe a special picture embedded in there.

Anyhow, it's news to me that the bonus covers SIC types. Wow.

Depends on the country. I've done two SIC type ratings in Australia and they are identical to PIC except done from the right seat (so no playing w/the tiller - otherwise identical).

Yup, that's quite different from the FAA requirements. 3 takeoffs and landings, single -engine procedures and some ground instruction, that's all you need. I did two in a Falcon 7X and a G550, but obviously if I were to try and fly those aircraft now, I'd be a complete menace...
