It's going to be about 7-10 months from first day of class until you get SEA. It's currently slightly more junior on the CRJ but that's a moving target while the E175s come online. I would tell a new hire from Seattle to take their chances on the E175 right now.
I'm not opposed to relocating and certainly don't want to commute for any extended period of time so maybe living in or nearby base will be best. |

A buddy of mine right out training on the ERJ got LAX. He wanted ORD base. So that was surprising to hear...

I reside in the Orlando area, so if I were to get on with SkyWest, what is the situation at IAH as far as being able to get that as a base, upgrade time etc?

It looks like they've have put new hires on the ERJ into LAX, SFO, and PDX recently. SEA has a list 20+ long waiting to get in.

Sounds like IAH is for sure closing which is a shame. I'd like to see some things change in the coming months that allow it to stay open because I was hoping for IAH.

Can any aa dedicated pilots give me a general load check from flg to phx on the 24th? Are those flights commonly weight restricted? Kick off jumpseaters?
Also, I tried contacting our jumpseat coordinators to ask how to list for aa jumpseat online for non dedicated employees with no reply. Can we do that or is my only option using the phone number within 24 hours? Gracias |
