you miss my point.
SKW will pay the pay increases but where are they going to get the money. AAG and DAL, would not think these two will increase there fee's to skw just to go and increase pay and bonuses at the w/o's again. This would be nothing else than AAG and DAL their individual self bidding against themselves. SKW only option is United since they own no one. Thats my point. SKW gets paid from the mainline carrier it feeds. It gets a set amount.

Is there anyone based in Denver around? DVR just came out, and shows zero vacancies yet again. I live in DEN and am commuting to MSP reserve. Very rarely do I get called to fly here, and the reserve staffing shows them under in DEN and over here on MSP. Are they shrinking the number of lines available?

Called and have offered to st reserve in DEN. "No, we're short in MSP." Then I sit around for five days hoping I can work. I know it's all part of the game but it does wear on a person.

I'm convinced that CS is trained to automatically deny anything a pilot suggests. Instead, try reverse psychology. If you want to sit reserve in DEN, call them up and beg for them to send you to reserve anywhere else but DEN. Thinking you're trying to pull a fast one, they'll probably put you on reserve in DEN!
(A variant of this strategy actually worked for me once)...

Been there, done that. Sadly, that is reserve at SKW.

Also there's a lot of ego involved, if you found a way to fix staffing, make it sound like it was their idea. If you come up with it on your own they won't go for it.

I don't think I'm above putting my time in just like you all have before. But it is a little frustrating when we can spot the staffing issues that could be eased just a bit. Just hoping I can be five on two off in my home base soon.

The frustrating part is when 2 pilots want to swap something that is not only legal, but helps both pilots out. Crew Support answer? NO
