Yep, and they are still bypassing 175 FO's for CRJ upgrade.

Don't upgrade classes run junior this time of year and more senior after Jan 1st?

Some of them are transitions who went from CRJ to ERJ. Karma for having SJS.

I thought HIMS wouldn't be able to save you if you showed up for duty. I could be wrong though.

Not really sure how that's Karma those of us bypassed have either started on the CRJ a few years ago or were hired into the 175 a couple years ago. I'd hardly call that SJS...

I'm a new guy starting class in a couple weeks. I've been flying corporate aircraft for the last decade and I'm trying to learn as much 121 info as I can on my own prior to starting. One thing that hasn't been made clear is the procedure for holding a base. Once you are assigned or bid for and receive a base, is that where you can expect to stay until you bid out of it or can a more senior pilot bump you out?

It won't. He will be spending some quality time away, but there have been pilots that this has happened to that do fly again in the airlines.

It's yours as long as it stays open, you can't be bumped out.
