Tell them you want the ERJ. They'll give it to you and stop someone already on property from transitioning. It's great. They don't care about seniority here. I'm already flying a plane others on the CRJ want but can't get and I've only been here 7 months. Getting mainline time to get out.

The RAH BK is gonna make this summer look like a slave labor camp. SKYW has been picking up flying like a politician picks up hookers. The pain is coming. Prepare for reflows that will make your eyes bleed.....
CRJ will be the best airframe for newhires, the ER7 is going more senior by the day, and will continue. Senior SKYW guys are wary of anything new, for good reason, past experience! Just because you can get into a senior base, doesn't mean that's gonna be the best for your QOL. Reserve is a special kind of he11 that only a true masochist would savor.

Management: We'll raise first year pay like we said we would if you'll let us completely end QOL and make everyone reserves.
SAPA: OMG!! We love it! Btw love the new mystic mountain blue berry koolaid. It's like so awesome!
Complete and utter waste of "representation".
You get what you pay for.
Inc pays for SAPA.
Hmmm. Wonder what should change?

Uhh... what about getting total time so you can move on up and move on out? If you're 'comfortable' where you're at, that's good but reserve is like a stall in your career.

For newhires, the correct way to bid aircraft when asked what aircraft you want is "I would like the ERJ, but will take the CRJ".
Why? If you say ERJ only, you will not fly. If you say CRJ only, you get seat locked for a year and a half. ERJ will take CRJ, seat lock only a year
This was from the lovely ladies at HR in St. George so take it for what its worth.

With the more senior CRJ transitions coming over my upward movement has been almost nil. Also I refuse to pick up stand ups in SFO on my days off. So not much choice

Little did I know from when I posted my original message about 12 hours ago that Republic was going to announce the bankruptcy and we would know exactly why this was forced through so fast. And we have these supposed conference calls to keep the pilot group in the loop and yet none of this was on the call today??

What exactly is the process for a recall? I think we need to start with the EB since it is obvious that they are the ones trying to control everything. Maybe we need to do a complete refresh with some of the former SAPA reps that actually understand what this pilot group needs? (NL, MM and others I can't think of right now or know if they are still around) If the reflow policy was pushed through with no input from our pilot group, then there really is no choice to keep our current "leadership" in place. Pilots were very vocal with no wanting this policy or the 91 flying without strict limitations and wins for our group.
