Since no one has responded, I will tell you what I know. First, a lot can change. Right now, Chicago and Detroit are where CRJ pilots are going straight out of IOE. Second, there is currently only a 4 month wait before SLC.

Are the odds high of getting SLC out of training? No. Will you make it back to SLC before next winter sets in? More than likely.

My class had several people get SLC out of IOE. Keep in mind it takes a long time to get through training. I started at the end of March and was off IOE in August, with under 50 hours of IOE. So by the time you're ready to actually bid and hit the line you can certainly get SLC I would say. I came to SLC in Jan and even had a line, so call it 5 months from end of IOE to get a line.

Things change, but I think that you can get here quickly then be on reserve for a few months.

Extremely. No one can get it because it is shrinking.

Crap...yeah that's what I was thinking.
the website lists IAH with FO openings?

I do not want to commute, nor do I wish to relocate, but......what to do...
I have hit the 'magical' 1500 hour and the mid life crisis at the same time...
