It has been mentioned that a new base ( not Boise ) is possibly in the works, but rumours are tight because it will give away the partner we would be flying for. I take that as it must be from a hub/focus city, and I think we have all of them already covered west of Denver. Only ones left that come to mind would be DFW or ATL? Just curious thanks

Strong rumors a southern base is in the ofting with expansion of flying with an existing partner. Supposedly, focused on either the CRJ900 or the 175.
I am not sure why we are stockpiling 175 pilots in Chicago other than easterly growth being a real possibility.

Not to kill a rumor as anything could happen but the 175s reserves are at a 12 month look-back low of 25%. They had a high of 80% reserves last June.
While waiting for the ERJ news the CRJ in ORD has blown up. 0% reserves.

And, the 175 class that is just starting is one of the largest. We only have 5 175's left to deliver for United.

Someone want to clue me in on these XJET rumors? I understand they cut the fleet and are always losing money....but news to me about closing shop and shipping pilots over...

Yep, the SIMs have to move from the old Flight Safety building to the new one. Gotta downsize classes because there is nothing to train new pilots on. It is only 2 classes that are downsized.

I just received an invite to go to work for Xjet by their recruiting department. Doesn't look like closing shop to me if their pilot recruiting is in full swing.

Well, there are 189 FOs on the 175 in ORD on the seniority list. So pretty much everyone will get ORD out of training until may. Given it's been around 80-97 targeted line holders since December and we pretty much have all United birds delivered, they are cooking something
