Funny thing is those are the FO's they paid the incentive to when they kicked them out just to bring them back 5 months later.

It's like when united bumps a pax off an oversold for money then a nonrev gets on... Except worse

Most junior guy at sfo is probably a late november hire.
I was one of the last classes to go through and my sim partner got SFO. I would consider getting a base off of IOE right out of training. Can't bid for anything until then anyways.

I know Houston was being discussed, out of Denver I have trips that flow through Houston now. Flying to Corpus Christi, and other inter Texas cities. I don't think anyone knows what is happening to Houston, but some sort of an update would be nice.

I wouldn't worry too much about XJT folks coming over. Most of us in the left seat would rather leave the industry all together rather than start at the bottom of the seniority list at some other regional.

No, there are also some people who are not willing to take a chance and I've met some of them. I'm sure there are folks who will not admit that the real reason is fear.

As long as we fly for United flowing through Iah is like flowing through EWR except Iah is hanging on by a thread. Though I think you are right that something changed since this domicile closure has been painfully slow and has allowed transfers in. It makes me think that there might have been some credence to the rumor that United was taken off guard (disliked?) that when oil tanked and they cut flights out of there while simultaneously awarding all the 175 flying to Mesa that we would actually pickup and move out.

Good to know, though you can put in a standing bid as early as ground school after the initial award. Looks like there weren't nearly as many sfo awards as anticipated in the vacancy report. I thought they are all assigned by the 1st ? So is the award process over for the month ?

I don't see that continuing....they've just about completed 175 deliveries and the DTW base is about as big as it's going to be. Those were two huge growth factors over the past couple of years.
