Might want to check on the bold part... Something about another airline getting 14 of them...

Yes Endeavor is in the process of receiving 14 from ASA. That's all they are getting though. We have been receiving the "newer" 200s.

They cannot use vacation, but you will be charged user time. The downside to that is that user time (if not burned by sick or emergency calls) can be used for vacation. So you effective lose some vacation when user time is burned.

If you need to call off, always try to drop the trip on schedplus first. A successful drop doesn't burn any time or count against your reliability. If you need money, you can then put vacation days on your days off...But the amount is controlled by you.

You can use vacation time for a sick call. You just have to tell crew support that is what you want to do.

If I don't have any user time, do they automatically take vacation time, or do I just not get paid for the trip?

You aren't growing the fleet though are you, just replacing older airframes, no?

I'm not sure what happens when you go below 58 hours for the month. They may want to use vacation to bring you up to the minimum hours required.

YOU can use vacation time. THEY cannot, unless you ask them to.

If you have no user left, you don't get paid but your vacation is untouched. If you prefer to get paid, you can burn the vacation.

Vacation is always under your control. On that note, NEVER cash out vacation (the company offers that each year)...ask your CA why not.

Yep, the SIMs have to move from the old Flight Safety building to the new one. Gotta downsize classes because there is nothing to train new pilots on. It is only 2 classes that are downsized.

It's going to take longer than one month to move the sims. Also we don't have any more planes coming, that plays a big factor for now.

No more 175s after the last 5 are delivered for United? That will definitely slow things down quite a bit for new hires --- particularly with the number of CRJ pilots switching over.
