Nobody here thinks we're mainline.

Lots of 175 guys do actually

Then why did some guy asking us for our jumpseat say he was from mainline? When we questioned which one, he said SkyWest.

You many not, but some of your fellow pilots drink too much from the fountain.

I've never heard anyone mention anything that suggested they thought of Skywest as a mainline. Actually the opposite if anything. Granted I'm on the CRJ.

And as far as the 175 can you blame them. Look at that thing. It's so mainline-ish.

There's nothing "regional" about doing LAX-MSP or SFO-STL....
Pay is what makes us all ie. every regional a "regional," nothing more. We all do the same exact job as our counterparts at mainline. We're just somehow "unqualified" to be making a comparable wage to what mainline pilots do...

I call bs, you're probably from xjet, along with drinking the koolaid it's one of their favorite lines.

Seriously? Who says 'I'm from mainline?' If someone really said that, they need a smack upside the head with a moldy trout. But I have trouble believing anyone would actually use the word 'mainline'...

I agree with not using 'mainline,' but I don't think 'regional' is appropriate. How about, "I work for an airline?"

...that pays c**p wages, etc! :D

Sounds like it was a poor attempt at a joke.
