Oh user time? The one where we accrue 20 hours a year? Right... One 4 day sick call a year. Yay

100th 175

I see the 100th 175 (Delta Connection) was delivered to Boise. Also, we have already delivered our last of 12 175s for 2017 to United according to their website.

Any one know how many more 175s are coming online this year and for which partners and where they will be based?

Like most employers, in all industries, vacation(user) accrual increases with years of service.

First/second year pilots complaining that they don't get more than a couple weeks off per year sounds entitled...especially in the airlines.

If you want "normal" vacation, you can have it without disrupting the rest of your life.

If you want epic time off, you can have that too, but at a price. Let's say you saved up 50 hours of vacay + user...
Bid three weeks of vacation, crossing two months. Then bid 5-6 days off before the vacay in the first month and 5-6 days off after the vacay in the second month. You just got over a month off.

Try that in Corporate America after two years on the job....they'll have changed the locks by the time you get back.

Also its yours to take with you when you leave.. (they cash you out)

I'm not a first or second year employee. And this isn't corporate America. I'm comparing us to other airlines. Including but not limited to republic, xjt, PSA, pdt, etc.

And yeah. 12 days off of vacation and 4 sick days a year until year 5 is absolutely ridiculous.

K. Look at the ppm and our accrual rates. I'm not making anything up. I love my job, but I'm not a koolaid drinker.

After working for a whole year you have a 3-day worth of sick time.
For 2 years of moving airplanes it is like that and that doesn't pass the smell test. The average American gets the cold twice a year.

From longevity pay year 3-6 it equates to a four day per year.

Starting at year six it gets better but nothing pads the user bank more than seniority and being able to post awesome trips when you get ill.

If you have seniority I can see how you might think things are fine. Most people I believe feel vacation and user time needs to be addressed.

After just over a year in ORD I just had a 10 day block off with I think 18 days off the entire month.
