Well obviously.

It simply is ridiculously unbelievable how many SkyWest pilots will be voting yes.... I just can't bring myself to believe how pathetic we are as a pilot group. I really do believe that we would collectively take a 10% paycut if Chip asked us to do so. That is how much kool aid is circulating around SkyWest. Unbelievable....

The more people I talk to the more confident I am this thing will pass. I have tried to get them to see logic but they all say 100 airplanes and don't really care what you say.

The only thing we have going for us is the current environment.
If Chipaway thinks he can recruit with the lowest pay scale in the industry I wish him luck. It really doesn't matter what we pass because they will be back offering more to get people in the door.

Come on. You are not going to attract yes voters by saying false things.

Agreed. Someone brought this up during the conference call last week. No bonuses, no flow through agreements, lower end hourly wage. What's gonna bring new hires in a year, two years, three years from now? Oh yeah. All the other airlines are going out of business.

Not correct: I can tell you for a fact - there is a class of 36 CRJ FO's in training now. Class started 29 May.

He was talking about SAN and BOI. Those are ERJ only bases.

Skywest is going to have a very hard time getting pilots if this is going to be their pay scale for the next 5 years.

Currently anyone looking at Skywest can assume that Skywest will join in with the rising salaries that are upon us. This agreement will end that assumption.

If this gets agreed to you will see Skywest coming back telling you how much they have give signing bonuses to the first year guys or they can't get the airplanes they used to get you to agree.
