Could it have something to do with the lousy pay they voted in for 5 years?

It’s a gamble either way. I’m seeing a lot of people senior to me moving over to the ERJ from the CRJ.

So I may be going backwards in seniority in the near future. Not sure how the outlook is on the CRJ side.

Really it depends on if you want to live in base or not.

Exactly, why anybody would come here and not go to Endeavor would be foolish!

The pay package SAPA agreed to, as always lacked foresight.

And let's not forget the wonderful "block vs credit" BS!

I just looked at a 2 day trip in open time, Blocks 10:25 but credits 8:10!

Apparently not as new hire classes are still full and we had a net gain of fifty pilots to the seniority list.

If they see a trend in declining hiring numbers and an increasing exodus of FOs they will be back to the bargaining table long before 2022.

Why not just fly it slow to make block & increase historical credit values?

Doesn't the company want us to do this, as in that situation the pilots would make more money at mainline's expense, or am I misunderstanding this?

Do you not fly C.I. anyway?

Have you been through class? While the discussions are operationally based, systems are still the main topic. They are just discussed in an order that makes more sense operationally.

...with signing bonuses, which means we’re going out of business

Ugh. You don’t get it. Even when maximizing block we still average 2-3% less than scheduled block. We are making 2-3% less credit than EVERYONE else even after taxiing/flying slow.

First of all, while SAPA presented that despicable pay package, you all didn’t have to accept it. This day and age, with the pay trending up the way it is why would you lock yourself into a 5 year deal for the promise of growth that you know SkyWest would do anyway based on their long history.
