They are both UAL and dal aircraft.
If they had to park any, their only choice are the pro-rate 200s that can be terminated with 30-120 days notice. Everything else is on a long term cpa. Maybe there are a handful that expire here and there.

Will revisit this in a year. But 45 years has shown that they haven’t had to do such “reductions”.. and the list keeps growing.. And a walk through the school house and FSI show full NH and CPT classes..

If a pay deal is going to happen, then they better be quick about it. Before a certain something gains enough traction and prevents Inc. from even having that option in the short term. If it comes to a point where they need to raise pay to attract pilots, but are no longer legally able to, it could make things difficult.
Lawsuits, giant *new hire* bonuses, LOAs are everywhere anyway. Not to mention the guns stuck to the heads of 9e, Republic, PSA, horizon and Envoy of late, not to mention Asa/Xjet.
Both sides have a full arsenal they can deploy...or not.

I’m not talking about downgrades or anything like that. I’m just saying that the 53 CRJ 200s will be used as an accumulator. Anyway, you can look at it in a year. But you also said you would revisit the pay package deal if the endeavor TA passed. Then you changed your tune after it was ratified.

How can they arbitrarily just decide to take airframes out of service? They can’t, they’re under contract under the terms of the appropriate ASA. They can however, take the at risk flying away with the proper notice. It’ll be interesting as some of the at risk flying is very profitable for SkyWest
