No, it doesn’t. That’s not what right to work is about. Right to work laws do not allow employers to intimidate or retaliate against union organization efforts. It’s explicitly illegal on a federal level under both the NLRA, and the RLA.

I understand all that. However, the post you quoted was referring to someone’s experience working with SAPA, and his experiences with management. Unless you guys get true representation you guys will have to go in faith that the company will keep playing nice.

Reps are voting on something next week. Probably take a week or 2 to fabricate a "presentation" for us.

They are going to have to do more than just pay rates to keep getting new hires.

outside of the weird block rules. Their work rules aren't really any different then any other regional out there. I would guarantee if they meet endeavor or even republic pay rates they will have zero problems attracting new hires for a while.

Very true. Classes are already full. But not booked out through summer like Endeavor.. matching pay will help. But we need another piece of the QOL puzzle...

We now have the worst reserve rules in the industry and the rest of our work rules along with vacation and sick accrual are well below anyone else. That along with a 6 month sentence to LGA will be enough to get new hires to look elsewhere.
