This. Which is exactly why new hires should not be able to vote.

I'm not sure that's the case Rick. The fast upgrade is already here. All the SLC lifers and 175 captains are living a pretty good life. I think there are more lifers here than you think.

This^. There are so many lifers that it isn't funny. They won't admit it outright, but when I ask whether they have their apps out and they say no and they have been here for twelve years, 2 + 2 = lifer. And even if they are not lifers, they have worked here long enough that they will benefit from the boost in 401k.

There are way more than 600 lifers here.

Realy no way to figure out that number... thats my 20 year educated guess... based off of knowing the top 1000 pilots here pretty well..

There's lifers who admit it and easily 3x-4x as many who might say they want out but will never do anything about it. A huge percentage of our pilot group does not have a 4 year degree.

600?! You obviously haven't looked at the master seniority list for a while

True. It's amazing how many 10 year CAs give you a blank look when you ask if they have apps out. I honestly would say that 70 percent of the CAs I fly with have zero interest in moving on. I'm honestly not exaggerating that percentage.

Why is this a question you are consistently asking? It is none of your or anyone elses business. You're going to be a real joy when you get to a major and tell us all about where you had apps in while we try to read or hit on the lead.
