New hire FOs in LAS, OAK, and LAX.

Looks like the displacement knot is just about untied. Pretty much every base but ATL and MCO attainable in first 2-3 months.
Got a realistic estimate for time to hold MCO?

Most junior MCO FO was hired 2/2020.

Most junior MCO CA was hired 6/2004.

6 months? Eventually it will go down to 2-3 months would be my guess. Last big wave, there were new hires getting awarded Orlando.

Do you get to pick from OAK LAS LAX or is it automatically assigned to you in class?

By seniority, based on DOB.

First month (IOE month), you will get your "base of choice" assigned by training, second month you will get a hard line in your vacancy awarded base, after that it's reserve and monthly (for now) vacancy bids. As long as hiring keeps up, things should keep moving quickly.

Planning has increased the number of reserve lines for the summer, so expect a little longer on reserve.

junior Captain is 89 #s junior to the previous plug, and nobody that has the seniority east of MDW/DAL/HOU bid OAK.

there are 176 on the seniority list hired 2012-2013

Base of choice meaning you pick or training picks for you? automatic line your first month sounds really nice for consolidation.

i requested LAS and got BWI. I think it was because I put a commuter city on the east coast near family. They try to honor your request seniority and CKAM permitting.
