Chief pilot said there aiming for close to 1000 new hires and upgrades in the next 24 months. But that remains to be seen how the training department can handle. Also we purchased the office next to our sim building that borders the street and are going to do another expansion. Basically pushing out the wall again and adding more sims!

Over 2 years? IDK, could be possible. Or is it 500 upgrades (because of vsp) and 500 new hires? I’m not sure 1000 of each is realistic, but I would hope that it is more than 500 of each over the next 2 years.

God, why do you guys have to complicate chit?! The rumor is 1000 new hires and 1000 upgrades over the next 24 months. Simple as that. Now whether that is fairly tales and unicorn orgasms remains to be seen but don’t complicate or convolute the rumor.

The building that borders the street is the parking garage, I think we already own that.

That sounds like the kinda stuff some chief thinks is funny to put out there and see how long it takes to make its way back to his office. There's optimism and then there's trippy dreams.

The one that intersections research row and Harry Hines BLVD. Look at your map on your phones. They just purchased that. Yes and it’s 500 new hires and 500 upgrades per year. Which we were already on track for in 2019 if it was not for the max grounding! It’s two offices they are the same like building.

If that were true, it would be way easier and cheaper to just move new simulators (that haven’t even been ordered BTW) back into Training Center South. That would give you all the capacity you’d ever need.

then you split up the training centers which they have been doing and it’s a pain for them.

Speaking of sims... the MAX sims still aren’t used for recurrent training, and that’s also a factor in how many people the company can train. That’s coming soon though.
