They only need to give 30 days notice according to what I recall. I think the logistics of training everyone in addition to ongoing recurrent training is the reason everyone hasn’t been recalled yet. Sim time and instructors and seat support are the likely bottlenecks.

I hope they give as much notice as possible like they did for the June/July recalls.

I think that's the confusion. Does anyone think they can recall all FOs in Sept and Oct? Then start new hires in Nov all while doing upgrades?. Remember they just pushed 300 to Sept for AQP. I'm not sure how many they can do a month but all recalls will have the 8 day footprint. Also we are to expect another big ETOPS bid next month with more training on top of a maxed out training center.
I hope they give as much notice as possible like they did for the June/July recalls.

I read it as hiring(process) will resume in late Nov to early Dec, not necessarily that they would start class then. Seems like interviews/background checks/etc at that time for classes starting in Jan would give them some time to push through the exto recalls and some upgrades in Oct/Nov/Dec and then have the first new hires hitting the line in March after the date they have set for all exto to be back.
strong rumor is there will be 3 new hire classes starting before the end of the yr.
upgrades starting in Sept which may be a few of those on ExTO. Sounds like all good news.
64 max 7 deliveries next yr with 40 additional options and 30-35 aircraft retirements. So at least 30 more planes in growth and maybe 70.
