OAK chief update says we have 9100, which must be active pilots vs 9600 total pilots. Still well below our 2020 high water mark of 9900

Not sure what happened but a buddy from a June class got Rona and is going to rejoin a later class. They had him as a new hire on the class that started Tues…along with some others from other classes. Obv not correct, so they put them back where they belonged but…they were listed twice for a couple days.

How much is training pay per month? I know you get paid twice a month. Does the pay stay the same while in training or does it fluctuate?

Min guarantee, so 87/89 tfp for 30/31 day months (feb gets 85). No perdeim.

About $6500/mo gross.

How long do you all think it’ll take for the hiring department and/or computer to evaluate all the applications from a window that was open for a month?

I know it’s just an estimate but wondering.

A buddy of mine applied during this window (is it still open?) and did some prep work. The prep person told him the going can be pretty slow—it can be a couple of months. Accurate? Can’t say for sure.

I applied back in July. Got an invite last week. But it's also because I went to OBAP on the 10th of August.

Just finished reading the 165 pages of this thread....learned a lot about parking politics and vaccinations .

Submitted my app on July 14, emailed about setting up a virtual yesterday, August 20. No job fairs. 5,400 TT, 3,000 TPIC for reference. Published availability date is May 15, 2023.

7 internal LORs, but the PilotCredentials maxes out at 5. Is there a way to add the additional internals? No external LORs....is that an issue?

I went ahead and combined the PRIA documents into a single pdf (which was more complicated than I'd hoped because of how Adobe treats the form fields). Seems like in the past the PRIA wasn't required until after the virtual, but now they're asking that "a minimum of three recommendations from pilots that can attest to your flying ability" (internal or external) and the PRIA form be uploaded no later than the virtual interview. Also, the naming convention for the PRIA file is "Doe, John - Reference Sheet" but the PilotCredentials site changes the name to DoeJohnReferenceSheet.pdf....love technology!

Virtual scheduled for Tuesday August 23. I'll be on the road, so hopefully the hotel wifi doesn't suck.

congrats! And good luck! Have all your internals write you an internal rec. it’s in comply 365. (This is separate from your end of the app. Any WN pilot can write you an internal rec or a not rec in there.) No limit. I’ve heard that there is a deadline for those, but I couldn’t tell you when it is because I’ve heard three different answers. Someone on interview team I’m sure could shed more light.
