Same. I am currently on the second consecutive 20 hour overnight in an airport hotel. It's amazing. A full workweek of my life has been wasted without a single thing to see or do within walking distance. But at least the van ride will be quick.

Look at little things and language that has gotten past the NC and members:
irregular ops - how is this still a thing?
open time giveaway rule that we did to ourselves that has become a restrictive mess that went way beyond its original intent and eventually had to go to arbitration
sick time accumulation on premium trips...has personally cost me tens of thousands of dollars.

I could go on and on. 3 months is about the right amount of time between a finished TA and a ratified deal.
Not a single airline gave 3 mos between announcing a TA and voting ending. Thats excessive and unnecessary. With proper education material and a month of road shows…30-60 days is more than plenty. Pretty sure voting period only needs to be 14 days…majority will vote in the first 2.

we should all start expensing Uber rides into town on long layovers. Maybe they’ll get the hint..

You will be very disappointed in what will be allowed to stay. Further the criteria that will be used for selection.

It’s the first section I will read. Wont even look at the rest if it sucks, this is a 10 year deal. I am getting old and can’t stay in these disgusting mold traps with adjoining rooms in industrial parks anymore. In my 20s that was fine/doable. no more hell hotels

Maybe I have selective memory, but it sure seemed to be about 90 days last go between AIP and ratified contract.

Yikes! Which hotels have you been staying at? Most of mine have been fine. I guess PDX, MAF, and the SMF PM are kinda lousy. The rest are okay. Location could be better for some. I’d like to see 15+ hour overnights be downtown or in tourist areas as opposed to airport hotels, but I haven’t had many quality complaints since they stopped using the Hyatt Place.

CAB stays, language on downtown v airport but I don't think swapa has any input to which hotels. I dont think there will be much improvement in hotels.
idk why they cant just ask for everything we want and wait it out? The company isnt going to tank a contract based on hotels but we might.
people are pretty fed up and they see this as a 10 yr deal since its seems to be getting harder each time with the contracts. There is a lot of talk of I'm voting no because of xx already. Not just here but on the line.
everyone is expecting the NC to knock it out of the park and from what I'm seeing is they are trying to get to a mutual deal

It’s just the hotels are run down junk. Here are a couple San bayside, Burbank. Yes I know the locations are good. The quality is garbage and filled with cruise ship people in San and BUR is junk. IMO any room with one of those window AC units is a complete garbage pile. If someone comes back with “location can’t be beat” ok I get it, then let’s move a block over to a better property please.
