if I recall, he posted OTOF about being met in Dallas by a CP to collect his company belongings and DH back to base on the first day of his pairing right after submitting his resignation. Said something along the lines of "I wish I had known that would be my last SWA flight". That does not sound like a retirement...
Age + YOS = 65 is the formula to retire I think? So if he was here 18 yrs, he’d need to be at least 47 to officially retire…which I think he was.

From: DOWNGRADE COMPLETE: Thanks Gary. Thanks SWAPA.
Prob depends on how he resigned. Did he fill out the paperwork to retire or submit a 2 week notice? I’d think one would get you a cake and water cannons while the other gets your badge yanked and sent home.

Depends what you consider a concession….if you say it’s agreeing to something not previously in the current CBA…then yes (co-terminals for ex). If it’s giving up something we already have for something worse (I didn’t see anything but some say Lance Captain is a concession)

To be honest, most of the no voters I've talked to it's whats not in the TA. Lance is going away but that has been on the table I think the last three bargaining cycles. So it was just a matter of time. Some would say Co-terminals and implementation. Thats all new. No enhanced crew meals. Basically current book. They threw money at it but as some have said on here, you can't eat a 20 dollar bill.

I honestly am thrilled about co-terminals!!! I know guys that live in Dallas that can’t wait to fly outta DFW!! Also people that live in Wisconsin that are chopping at the bit to fly outta ORD. There is enough people that the rest will not have to touch it. Also with the new contract language that trips have to be run through open time first there is less of a chance that a junior guy on reserve will get them.
