Why would we need tray tables? You can eat a 20 dollar bill by hand.

You still need a tray table or if you're a savage, a maintenance can. Eating a $20 bill by hand without mixing Cholula with some mayo and spices first is just uncivilized.

PRO TIP: Break it into 4x fives so you don’t have to eat it all at once.

the yoke is a Boeing thing, it’s not going away.
A lot of people said the same thing about Gulfstream.

Sounds like there is FINALLY a light at the end of the tunnel for the MAX 7 and 10, hopefully we can start getting these things maybe at the end of next year!

cool cool cool. Glad they have the ice thing figured out. When will they have a fix for the LRD? I don't want to have to watch any more Mentour pilot You Tube videos to find out what it's doing.

What will it be? 7 years old when they certify it?

Flight ops said a while ago that the fix for the LRD problem is software, once the vibration amount exceeds a set parameter it will instantaneously shut the PRSOV. Should be here by the end of the year/beginning of 2026.

I guess the question is how many will.we take that are already built and/or how fast can boeimg build them?
ie how many are we getting / month once certified.
Im sure this is what spawned the hiring. Boeing doesn't take a poop without the airlines knowing ahead of time.

I've heard conflicting information, I've heard from check pilots that we are NOT taking the 30 or so already built that have been sitting in Moses Lake since 2019, and I've also heard that they are being readied at this very moment to go to Seattle to get the new interiors, bins, etc etc.

Who knows at this point. It's going to take some time for Boeing to spin tooling back up for the 7, get fuelsages manufactured, etc. Even if the 7 is certified tomorrow, it would be maybe another 9-12 months before we see one on property.

All I know is is that if we decide to take on the 7s already built, pay full price for them, and NOT have Boeing perform a D check on them before we take delivery then we truly are run by morons.

If I had to bet, we won’t take any of the -7’s already built unless they pay us to take them. Nobody would buy a brand new sports car that has been sitting on the lot for 7 years.
