Feb 20 payment

RTCI removes the underlying rsv block while still giving you credit for days used on rsv for the RCO. Rsv pays the same as a Lineholder and there’s nothing in the contract that says LCO doesn’t pay day 1 on RTCI. You get paid for any change on day 1 just like a Lineholder….you are effectively a line holder for all intents and purposes. Even on rsv, you get LCO if something changes.

The only thing I can think of is the short notice callout. If they put a trip on your board the day before that reports less than 2 hours (3 for co term) from start of RAP and you choose RTCI I believe you would lose the close in parking/premium pay provisions since you are no longer on reserve. That would be my guess anyway.

I think you lose the ability to have someone extra fly your trip. I may be lying, but I seem to remember that being the case.

I think you will do well. The rigs on all open time becomes effective. No more 2 days paying 8 that only the ones with no self worth bid . We actually have pilots that did not want rigs on open time .
