there is definitely something one gives up by doing release till check in. I cant remember exactly off the top of my head but you lose out if you chose this. It was brought up in a road show.

The only thing I can think of is the short notice callout. If they put a trip on your board the day before that reports less than 2 hours (3 for co term) from start of RAP and you choose RTCI I believe you would lose the close in parking/premium pay provisions since you are no longer on reserve. That would be my guess anyway.

I think you lose the ability to have someone extra fly your trip. I may be lying, but I seem to remember that being the case.

This is true, but you can still give it away in TTGA. So not really a loss with fully rigged open time.

I bid reserve for next month so I'll take it for a test drive and let you know how it goes.

You'll have a hard time as RTCI isn't implemented til 1Q25.

Also if you proffer a trip that’s short notice it’s automatically are released to check in. But that’s not implemented yet.

You have to vote Yes and implement the Contract to know what's really in it

I think you will do well. The rigs on all open time becomes effective. No more 2 days paying 8 that only the ones with no self worth bid . We actually have pilots that did not want rigs on open time .
