Of course it's fake. That info would be all over the financial news your head would be spinning. Someone's pranking pretty hard right now.

- We have a management team that’s afraid of it’s own shadow. You underestimate their reluctance to change and innovation. Example: our upcoming “premium cabin”. What a sorry excuse for anything premium.

Unfortunately, I don’t think we’re getting a different fleet type unless it’s through a merger and I don’t see that happening either.

You really have to work at SWA for a few years to see just how resistant to change they really are. It’s absurd.
You make great points! However, with the new board of directors (including Elliot Management) in place, I really do think they will reevaluate risks related to fleet mix. The MAX shutdown after the Alaska MAX scare was a real problem for a lot of investors. None of the big legacies (UAL, DAL or AA) operates just one fleet type. I like the idea of more cheap MAX8s, but that just increases the risks associated with more potential Boeing issues going forward. Just my opinion, but I wonder what the new SWA board of directors thinks about fleet mix risk........

I mean.....closing transaction by Q2 2025? Hahaha that would be a world record in the Guinness book. Also, JB with a lot more unencumbered assets vs NK and those sought after slots and gate and 3.9 billion cash on hand, all for 2.82 Billion purchase price? Frontier was offering 2.16 Billion for NK and they're, unfortunately, in Chap 11.

That CRJ-1000 Sure has grown up! I'm always impressed when I see one.

Those pilots are *Idiots* though. Short final and their ALT Preselect on the MCP is 3000?! Do they want to crash?! Why the heck isn't it 0000? Fools! </s>

OK, I'll bite. What is the SWA SOP for Altitude selection on approach?

We have a 7 page procedure for that developed by angry former Air Tran guys working in a locked room with legacy 737-200 SWA captains. They were not allowed to leave until they came up with something and this was the best they could do after 12 years of negotiations.

I'd need sixteen pages to explain it. Well, I wouldn't, but the pigeons who write procedures at flight ops did.
