You're not alone, there are a few of us waiting to hear back after the logbook reviews. Workday says the same for us too.

I heard back from a chief pilot 4 days after the logbook interview.

I did my logbook review on the first day we could and since have completed multiple workday tasks and the drug test/background etc. Workday says I have preferred class date on November. But I have never received a call. I have emailed them a few times to basically ask am I good? I haven't gotten any responses. Honestly not sure what to do with the information at this point. Especially if they are opening it up to non poolies tomorrow

what are you thinking the hiring mins will look like when the apps open?

how about next year? We have United wanting thousands, Delta around 800, American in the thousands now Southwest with hundreds to start…

At some point, PIC time will be hard to require due to training requirements the new regional pilots have had to sign in the last two years requiring them to stay for half a decade.

im assuming over the next year as well most spirit guys in the left seat will get picked up as well. I’ve heard a large amount already have class dates and just waiting for the time to come. That might stabilize things but would not be surprised if hiring metrics change once again for a little bit of time…

time will tell

Is it worth going to SWA from Atlas? What are your thoughts?

Two completely different animals. I’d say if you got the int’l bug still and don’t live in a SWA base…the home basing thing might seem appealing.

You’ll make more at SWA in the long run and won’t be gone from home for long stretches like at Atlas.

I’d say apply, interview if offered one and make a decision if offered a class. Should have plenty of time between now and then to iron out all the differences.

This is normal. You’re probably hired they’re just getting you ready. Complete confusion and no answers to anything is the normal around here.

We can’t offer input on this until you give us much more information on your current situation. Details please if you’d like accurate and valid advice. No offense taken if not.

Well, you'll be asked throughout the interview process in several different forms - why do you want to come to Southwest? Why are you looking to leave Atlas?

ATL

What is yalls opinion on ATL as a base? Do you think it will stay around? I assume it goes senior on both FO and Capt side. Could you theoretically hold it within a couple years on the FO side at least? I’m not in a bad position where I am currently, but I am commuting and do not plan to leave ATL anytime soon…
