True. No idea if employee had a portion also to the state. If so, that’s an additional cost to the company. Doubt they care that much to make an operational decision based on it but you never know. My $ is on MCI, AUS if they’re doing a knee jerk to combat DL.

No blizzards in AUS. Some of the higher hotel costs among the listed cities. Tons of local pilots. So... makes too much sense. Won't happen. MCI sucks. STL sucks worse. Almost all commuters will fill either. Dying cities with cheaper hotels... Most likely new base.

also isn't there a maternity law if youre based in CA that FAs use to their advantage. I remember the company saying that costs them a good amount as well
I guess I shouldn't say FAs but more so women working for SW. I would have included men in that, but i feel we are past men having babies now.

Airline crews are exempt from the lunch break law and ground based employees are already given lunch so no change I’m aware of.
