Or no displacements at all. Figure it out with a DH etc
Part of me feel the companybis doing this on purpose to create a problem for us to negotiate since they need a few things right now.
All the more for us to hold the line. They need something—they start first.

I don't think its that simple. Pilots don't create displacements. The company does. If thats the case, we would have another 6-8 domiciles just based on that data alone. The problem is network planning is changing the structure of the network. Network planning is on the revenue side of the business and crew planning is on the cost side of the business. Unfortunately the CBA gives the company flexibility on the cost side through displacements. Make no bones about it, network planning is in the driver seat. Some of the route leg files they create require four crews to run on a single day with one airplane. Longer duty days on the airplane create these problems but ultimately generate the revenue they think is necessary. Hiring masks a lot of this but when they don't, it shows big time. DEN lost almost 10 RON's over the last few months but only lost 11 flights a day. Just as disability bubbled up to be the issue of this current CBA, displacements maybe next. Work rules are created for protections but also give guard rails based on the network. Thats why every CBA is a little different at every airline. SWA is no exception. Long term I think displacements need some new guard rails just as a new fleet type probably is negotiated within the CBA. That probably won't happen until the next bargaining cycle.

Default Correction to application?

I made an omission about a training failure on the application. Didn’t result in a pink slip, but it was definitely an eval ride for aircraft transition (metroliner) under part 135. Retrained and did not pass re-eval, rechecked in current aircraft and resumed duty. Will only come up in the logbook review, not in PRIA PRD FAA. If I could go back and change the app, I would but it’s not possible.
Anyone know the format of the interview panel? Is there an opportunity to admit an application error / make a correction early in the interview and if so, is it the kiss of death?

It’s my only training issue ever, I am practiced at explaining why occurred, what I learned from it and then why it takes me a better pilot today. Just wish I had included it on the application

yea so they’ll find that in your logbook and that’ll probably be the end of that.

and why do you think it won’t show up on a PRIA request? They (your prior employer) can send *all* training records if they want.

My advice is to come clean now and hope for the best. If it comes out on interview day, it won't be good.

you think I should contact pilot recruitment before the interview and say exactly what I’m saying here? Not even sure that’s possible
