Do you think you were too prepared? They are really good at sniffing out prepped and truly sincere candidates. Not saying that was you, but just a question. There are plenty of corporate guys at SWA. All three on my interview were corporate guys in their prior life.

Interviewed on Nov 6. Great experience and really awesome place. Had the chance to meet some great people as well. All my references were called a few days later. Haven't heard anything yet, but keeping my fingers crossed. Have quite a few of internal recs from people I've flown with over the years, so hopefully that helps. Mainly a corporate guy all my career, with a little 121 prior to 9/11. Been flying for over 20yrs, and can say that SWA would be a awesome way to finish out my career. bummer. Seems like this experience would be exactly what they want. Truth tho no one knows what they want.

When I interviewed in 2015 I had no idea how to feel. I left there feeling overwhelmed and felt like I wasn’t able to use any of the stories I’d saved up because they asked me questions all the prep didn’t touch!

Seriously. ATL is dying.
