Interview? Post your times

I want to give the benefit of the doubt to our interviewers—the pilot side anyway. That being said, I want to know who picks the candidates for an interview with how and why. My strong suspicion is still that HR has its hands waaaay into the pot with too much sway over the final result. The Chief’s power to intervene has been removed and it’s ultimately HR’s choice. That alone speaks volumes to me.

I was advised by the chief that their power to overturn HR is gone.
Maybe they changed back…

I have my interview in December and just constantly see TBNT after TBNT on FB. Know someone who was super qualified and did interview prep also get a TBNT. I don’t get why they’re being so selective from the interviews. Bringing in all these candidates and spending all this time/money to only give CJOs out to 25% of interviewees is very different from typical airline hiring

Another TBNT here from October interview. The panel was not what I expected (not as friendly as I thought it would be) but I still felt it went pretty good. Took them nearly three weeks to email. They did call my references so I initially thought that was a good sign.
