I know a quirky little airline that does 3 of those 4…. Just saying and referring to the title. Have a nice day.

In any case, discussions ARE happening, consultation firms HAVE been hired, company NDAs with SWAPA and TWU556 HAVE been signed—all per SWAPA very recently.

By the way CS100/300 are a blended rate in our CBA. We only have 300 w/no 100 on order. The pay rates for the 190 which are referenced above were correct. They have been all parked since Labor Day. Just adding to your conversation unsolicited info. No grenades being lobbed.

Interesting. What was the context behind it, was it referring to acquisition of jb, or just merger rumors in general?

The company approached SWAPA and TWU about international flying that was outside the currently allowed “near international” language on the 737…flying that will require reopening the contracts

So potential fuel costs doubling from $5.0 Billion to $10.0 Billion at SWA, rumor of Spirit liquidating, based on current prices of spot fuel of $4.15 a gallon today(A4A trade group), JBLU's cash will dwindle down to $900 million by the end of the year according to some airline analysts and of course Kirby and his remarks, it should be a interesting to hear earnings conference calls over the next two weeks. For my Spirit brothers and sisters, if anything happens, you we will be welcome on my jump seat. Hope the rumors are false. A additional $25 Billion in fuel cost's for the US industry. That's a hard cost to pass on. I suspect summer flying will be robust but the fall will look quite different if fuel stays elevated.

Earnings dates.

ALK 4/20
UAL 4/21
AAL 4/23
LUV 4/23
JBLU 4/28

They’re only welcome if something happens?

yes. Exactly this. No one is welcome unless going out of business.

Wall Street consensus for Q1 EPS is at $0.47/share. Last year we came in at -$0.13. Considering everything going on in the ME and oil prices, that's a pretty decent improvement. I guess the analysts could always be way off... Sure looks like the changes are working...

DAL, UAL and SWA maybe the only carriers in the first quarter to make money. We will see by the end of the week.
