The latest email doesn't do that. It actually says not to harass anyone doing it. Not sure what message you're reading.

Kind of what I was thinking. He should ask the guys at AA how they are achieving mid-contract raises. The email is just our MEC covering their behinds. They wanted to go at the negotiations process alone, and believe the folks of the NMB can influence the company more than we can. The company holds the purse, we hold the thrust levers.
