Seriously. What the flying **** kind of country do we live in when a judge has the audacity to "order" a pilot to fly broken airplanes, fly sick or fly fatigued. Again, just throw the tea in the harbor and flip them the bird. That's ridiculous and has got to stop.

Not sure how the court can "order" you to not call in fatigued?! Or like the above said, "MX write ups?"

I feel like I'm in the twilight zone. Scary stuff!

I wish there was a way ALPA could get ALL of us to picket or something in support of this debacle.

So sorry fellas! Hang in there

So the judge wants to go against Federal regulation. Last time I check its the PIC that has the final authority to say whether an aircraft is airworthy. NOT someone in a robe sitting in a court room. Fatigue ->> what's the purpose of obtaining knowlegde of fatigue every year but can no longer make a true fatigue callout or sick. Last time I check it was part of IMSAFE checklist which is part of aeronautical decision making. What's the purpose of Chapter 17 (ADM - correct me if im wrong) in the PHAK. What have I been learning since student pilot days?

I wonder what the FAA has to say about that? 🤔🤔

To put it bluntly: *I love Unicorns* the judge and his opinion on airworthiness, fatigue, sick, etc. I'm not a NK employee but if I was I'd basically ignore what his Highness has decreed from behind the bench. The audacity!

There was one big word that was left out of the ALPA email: "Concerted". It is in the actually order that the Judge put out that this basically cant be a Concerted effort by the pilot group. You can call in sick if your sick, but you cant call all your buddies and have them all plan a big sick out. You can write up ACs if they are broke, but you cant call all your buddies and have them go and just write stuff up to hurt the operations.

I'd have to question your union on why such an important and applicable word was left out.

But the problem is it will be the company decision if it is a "concerted effort ". This is the same company that started the injunction after failing to adequately the staff transition period ( LAS reserve grid days were green with minus 6 coverage), forgive me but without an independent arbitrator monitoring the company against pressuring the pilots into flying BWF (Broken aircraft While Fatigued) I am not happy.

It was not left out of the unit email. It was in there three times.

No need to lol, because you are correct. If nobody had urged group action (and left a computer trail), the company's petition might have been rejected for lack of evidence.
