ALPA has fixed the below items for the company, the Captains received ~$50/hr raise and 11% DC.

Transition conflicts gone with PBS! Big score for the Company!
Open time due to Vacation drops gone with PBS. Big score!
Open time due to Training drops gone with PBS. Big Score!
Major increase in productivity. PBS!
Section 25 major recovery tool for unwilling pilots. Triple Score for the company!
Less staffing required. PBS! This alone offsets the $50/hr raise.

Spirit is going to make so much money every pilot here needs to take the signing bonus and buy stock. The management team at Spirit has made monster gains in the new Pilot contract, genius. ALPA will be sitting on the side lines for the next 8 years watching all the profit flow to the Executive group and wall street. We got our signing bonus just like the FA! SUCKERS!

ALPA signed off on all those give backs for little or no money.

And this is why I voted NO!

So true! It really is an industry standard contract....just without the pay and retirement.

I wonder what the industry will look like in 5-8 years?

Moving on....

And another thing, I’m not against making money, as long as the CBA is followed.

Im with you. I dont blame people for dropping middle days and waiting for the phone to ring, contractually it's allowed, if not making special side deals. If they want to be on call for the airline on their days off, thats on them.

But nobody can be surprised when the company decides in negotiations that they dont want 5-10 more years of checkerboard reserve drops.

If I went next door and dropped a steaming loaf on the neighbors lawn every day for 8 years, im sure they would eventually build a fence to stop me from doing it any longer.

You keep talking like that, management is going to give you a yellow high five award to wear proudly around the airport
