7 years, never less than 15 days off. Maybe one or 2 reserve months I was awarded less, but didn't get used.
Given this is based of contract 2010...
This may not be the case soon. The devil is in the details that we don't know yet (PBS).
Conflict drops were a beautiful thing.
You will probably hear the captains you fly with tell you all about them. The once great QOL that we gave up so the people with no dergee, no TPIC, criminal records, live WAY outside their means, 9 or less years left to retire, etc. could get a **** poor raise to make their problems easier to deal with...
But hey, come on over! hahahaha!

Why?
Your description above is clearly how you view your fellow Spirit pilots. Aren't you better than that?

I'm sad that most of the pilots here can't see the "Forest for the trees".
Yes, I look at many in that regard that you speak of. Low turnout at picket events, low turnout at road shows.
This group of pilots annoys me.
We could do MUCH better, but are about to settle for mediocrity.
I am actually updating my logs and info in anticipation of this passing.
To those who can get out, it's time.
With the retirements and growth, it's a no brainer.
I'm under 40.
Y'all want to stick it out?
Good for you.
You had an opportunity to really change it, and your fell for the oldest trick in ALPAs book......
Sad.

To answer your question no one really knows what it will be like once pbs kicks in. Until then if you are on reserve your QOL is going to take a hit for sure, as a fo you can out run that by only being on reserve a short time, as a ca you have the potential to be on reserve for years depending on your base. I’m not sure where you’re coming from but I’d think long and hard before coming here, even with the new ta.

I could easily leave. But I came here hoping for a kick a$$ startup on the ground level.
