Spirit hired JW from Envoy to spearhead implementation of aqp; he’s been working at it for at least a year now

Yes, it is. You can get PIC typed from either seat.

That you're wrong.

You can get PIC typed in either seat. On some planes it's more difficult because you have to demonstrate you can taxi and you usually switch to the left seat to accomplish this but with the bus there's obviously a tiller on each side.

This alone makes me want to push back my class date. That would be a much more relevant and useful training strategy for a new FO. But I guess I'll slog along with the rest of my class anyway.

That you have no idea what you're talking about. You can take a type in either seat and have it be a PIC type.

Except we wrote the application letter and it's getting sent in. Also hired a company to help us write it.
