You're absolutely right. And there's no way in the world I will get that as a junior line holder without waiving the 4 days, regardless of whether senior holders waive the 4 days or don't.

Guess what- if you were a junior lineholder before PBS- you’ll most likely be a junior linholder after....

Interesting point- in my base, the PBS projection shows 20% more line holders... maybe that means that some poor pilot, commuting from LA to Detroit, who was STUCK on reserve, might get a line and be able to drop, trade, swap.....

Oh the HUMANITY!!!!

Oh wait, my optimism could be misplaced.... and 6 months later, I’ll be proved wrong-

Oh the HUMANITY!!!

I love the doom and gloom.....

Guaranteed 4 days off between trips holds ZERO value in a PBS world. Hopefully after PBS is implemented, more pilots will realize this, and we can dump this on next contract for MORE MIN DAYS OFF

Really? If Spirit closes your base and you have to commute I'd bet you'll see the value in 4 days off. Plus I want 4 off. Senior guys know what the history of the 4 days. Never give that up. 4 days is a big deal and has a real QOL value.

you must be senior here. you have no clue about PBS. You'll learn soon enough. You'll realize what a huge mistake it was to keep 4 days off. just wait bud. I know you guys were scared of PBS, but you'll like it man. and btw, I do commute and I'd gladly dump 4 days off for something of value. 4 days off was great for line bidding, I appreciated it and enjoyed it. but with PBS, I'll make my own schedules (thank you very much! 12 days on, 75 hours!!)

Also, yes 4 days off is very valuable when COMPANY build your schedule. In PBS, YOU build your own. You've never had PBS have you?

Anyone who has worked under PBS would dump 4 days off. useless. we wasted a lot of capital preserving it.
