My comment was a failed attempt at sarcasm/humor...
Everyone stays or leaves for their own personal reasons and that’s fine. I’m staying, and it’s not for skeletons or anything like that. I like it here, I’m comfortable with my seniority, I’m lazy, and don’t want to start all over somewhere new. But with all that said the big three are still better jobs for the majority of people. I don’t think many who have a choice between spirit and the big three choose spirit.

You think old skeletons are the reason people are staying at regionals? - that's an honest question
As well though I just as many others know people who don't want to be bottom of the seniority or who just never apply.

Maybe but they are giving up on a huge amount of pay. Your second year you are never going to look back.

We could of definitely used profit sharing.
Our FO’s at Spirit are so poor here they can’t even afford slacks. We need to start a go fund me for the FO’s that walk around in blue Kakis.
Our captains are so poor here they can’t afford a blazer or leather jacket.

A captain would never need to purchase either.
So do you actually work here, or are you just a troll?

Umm, the blazer is provided by the company after upgrade, and the leather jacket is provided after 36 months. Replacements are provided after a certain time period.

Btw for folks with less than 36 mo you can payroll deduct the leather jacket at $25 a paycheck and get reimbursed at 36 mo. Should a uniform be provided, yes, but there is really no reason to be out of compliance.

I wouldn’t go that far by saying that people “bypassed”. Some were 7+ behind their logbooks, a few thought they couldn’t make the cut because of some event in their past and a lot just wasn’t delta material and lost hope. But bypassed ? Nah. I still can’t believe how many bozos delta as hired and how many guys were turned down. I’ll never understand the system.
